The CUNY Rare Book Scholars

The pedagogical mission of The CUNY Rare Book Scholars is to expose Lehman College students to rare book and manuscript research by bringing them in contact with archival materials, special collections, librarians and curators, book collectors, and antiquarian booksellers. The impetus behind this initiative is that manuscript research need not be limited to advanced graduate students nor to students of elite research institutions.
